Common ownership and publishing relationships
Several of the specialized resources we cite were founded by, or are edited in collaboration with, clinicians affiliated with the OCC & Ariel Center Metabolic Health Network. Others are independent professional or educational sites we consider reliable references on a specific topic. We disclose this relationship whenever a related-resource module appears within an article.
Editorial standards
- Educational content only — never a substitute for medical advice.
- Neutral, evidence-informed language; no promises of cure, guaranteed remission, or universal superiority of any single treatment.
- References to primary literature, professional society guidelines, or regulatory documents where relevant.
- Distinct labeling of professional-audience resources so that patient readers understand the intended audience.
Medical review process
Clinical articles are reviewed by qualified clinicians on our Medical Review Board using the standards described in our Editorial Policy and Evidence Review Process. Sources are documented on the article page or on Sources & Verification.
How related resources are selected
- Every cross-domain link is reviewed manually by an editor before publication.
- Links are chosen because the destination offers substantially deeper coverage of the specific treatment, condition, or comparison being discussed.
- We prefer to link to the most relevant deep page — not always the destination's homepage.
- We do not automatically convert keywords into cross-domain links, and we do not run keyword-linking scripts.
- Most articles contain no cross-domain links. When they do appear, the module is limited to no more than two curated cards.
- A link from MagnaMetabolic to another resource does not constitute a treatment recommendation, endorsement of a specific clinician, or advertising.
