Content Review Process
A summary of how each article moves from outline to publication and how it is kept current.

- Topic selection. Topics are chosen based on prevalence, search interest, and gaps in patient-facing educational material.
- Outline & sourcing. The editorial team drafts an outline and assembles primary sources — preferring current guidelines and high-quality trials.
- Drafting. Plain-language drafts are written for a general audience, with technical terms defined inline.
- Medical review. A clinician with relevant specialty experience reviews for accuracy, balance, and currency. Suggested edits are incorporated.
- Editorial QA. Sources are re-checked, links validated, plain-language pass completed, and metadata finalized.
- Publication. Article goes live with author, reviewer, and last-reviewed date displayed.
- Scheduled re-review. Each article is re-reviewed at minimum annually, or sooner if a relevant guideline, regulatory change, or major trial is published.
- Corrections. Errors are corrected promptly. Substantive changes are noted in-line. Readers may report concerns to editorial@magnametabolic.com.
